Kinder PlumCake

Kinder PlumCake is a packaged sweet breakfast cake made with Greek yogurt, developed under the world-renowned Kinder brand. Originating in Alba, Piedmont, Italy, the Kinder line was introduced by Michele Ferrero in 1968 to offer chocolate and bakery treats made with quality milk and simple ingredients suited for children and families.

Today, Kinder PlumCake sold in the Italian market is manufactured domestically at Ferrero's specialized Italian bakery facilities, notably in Balvano (Potenza). The brand is ultimately owned by Ferrero International S.A., the holding entity of the global confectionery empire Ferrero Group, headquartered in Luxembourg and steered by the Ferrero family.

While other well-known Italian brands produce plumcakes (such as Mulino Bianco by Barilla), the Kinder PlumCake remains exclusively a Ferrero flagship baked product distributed across Italian supermarkets by Ferrero Commerciale Italia S.r.l.
