This product is honey sold under Mercadona's private label brand, Hacendado. Packaged in a signature honeycomb-patterned plastic or glass jar with a golden lid, this honey is packed and distributed for Mercadona, S.A., Spain's leading supermarket chain.

Hacendado's honey range is primarily supplied and packaged by prominent Spanish honey producers and apiculture specialists, such as Apis Viñuelas (or similar specialized honey co-packers depending on regional lots). Mercadona remains wholly owned by Spanish shareholders, principally the Roig family.
