Hacendado soy sauce is a private label product sold by Mercadona, the leading supermarket chain in Spain. While the Hacendado brand is Spanish, this specific product is manufactured in Austria by Mautner Markhof Feinkost GmbH.

Mautner Markhof is a long-standing Austrian company specializing in vinegars, mustards, and dressings. Since 2002, the Austrian manufacturer has been part of the Develey Holding GmbH & Co. Beteiligungs-KG group, a German food giant based in Unterhaching. Therefore, while the product is sold under a Spanish retail brand, its production and ultimate corporate ownership are located in Austria and Germany respectively.
