Rummo is a premium Italian pasta brand with a deep historical heritage dating back to 1846. Founded by Antonio Rummo in Benevento, a region in southern Italy famous for its milling tradition, the brand has remained a family-owned enterprise for over six generations. Currently, the company is led by Cosimo Rummo and his son Antonio.

The brand is globally recognized for its patented 'Lenta Lavorazione' (Slow Processing) method. This unique manufacturing approach involves a slower kneading and extrusion process using bronze dies, which preserves the nutritional properties of high-quality durum wheat and results in a rougher texture that holds sauces exceptionally well. Rummo is also notable for being the first pasta brand to have its 'al dente' performance certified by a third-party organization (Bureau Veritas). Production remains concentrated in Italy, specifically at their main facility in Benevento, while gluten-free varieties are produced in a dedicated secondary plant in Novara.
