Bonne Maman is an iconic French brand, easily recognized by its signature red-and-white gingham ('Vichy') lids and handwritten-style labels. Founded in 1971 by Jean Gervoson in the village of Biars-sur-Cère, the brand was built on the philosophy of using simple, high-quality ingredients to recreate the taste of traditional homemade French jams.
While the brand maintains a strong identity as a product of France, its manufacturing footprint has expanded to meet global demand. While the core preserve line is famously produced in the southwest of France, the parent company, Andros, operates over 40 factories worldwide, including sites in the United States and Belgium. The brand remains privately held by the Gervoson and Chapoulart families through the Andros Group, preserving its heritage as a family-run enterprise focused on premium fruit processing.
