The Braun PowerBlend 9 is a high-performance jug blender known for its distinctive triangular jug design and iTextureControl technology. While the product is a staple of German engineering and its high-precision 'PrecisionEdge' blades are manufactured in Solingen, Germany, the final assembly of the unit primarily takes place in China to maximize global production efficiencies.
Founded in 1921 by Max Braun in Frankfurt, Germany, the brand became a global icon of industrial design under the leadership of his sons and the vision of designer Dieter Rams. Historically, Braun was acquired by Gillette in 1967, which was subsequently purchased by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in 2005.
Starting in 2012, P&G entered into a perpetual licensing agreement with the Italian De'Longhi Group. Under this arrangement, De'Longhi manages the Braun Household division, which includes kitchen appliances like the PowerBlend 9, while P&G retains the Braun brand ownership and continues to manage the personal care segments such as shavers and epilators.
