Jordans is a storied British cereal brand that traces its heritage back to 1855 when William Herbert Jordan purchased Holme Mills in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. The modern enterprise was established in 1972 by brothers Bill and David Jordan, who introduced granola to the UK market after Bill discovered the crunchy cereal while touring North America. The "Country Crisp" range, noted for its oat clusters and nut or fruit inclusions, remains one of the brand's most recognizable product lines.

Historically an independent family business, Jordans underwent a phased acquisition by Associated British Foods (ABF). ABF purchased an initial stake in 2007 and gained full ownership by 2013. Today, Jordans operates as part of the Jordans Dorset Ryvita subsidiary. As of April 2026, the ultimate holding company remains Associated British Foods plc, although the group has recently announced structural changes to separate its grocery and food divisions from its retail arm, Primark, to streamline operations and enhance market clarity. Most production for the global market, including the French-labeled variant shown, continues to take place in the United Kingdom.
