Today, KitKat is produced in numerous countries across the world, including the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates. While Nestlé owns the brand globally, it is important to note that in the United States, KitKat is produced under license by Hershey due to a prior agreement with Rowntree's. The 'Double Chocolate' version featured remains part of Nestlé's extensive international portfolio of variant flavors.
