La Molisana is a historic Italian pasta brand founded in 1912 in Campobasso, Molise. The company is renowned for its integrated supply chain ('filiera integrata'), controlling the process from grain cultivation to the final product. They use high-quality 100% Italian durum wheat, which is milled in their own facilities and mixed with pure mountain water from the Matese massif.

After facing financial difficulties in the early 21st century, the brand was acquired in 2011 by the Ferro Group, a prominent Italian family of millers with a history dating back to 1910. Under their ownership, the brand has revitalized its international presence, emphasizing traditional bronze-die extrusion ('trafilata al bronzo') which gives the pasta a rough texture ideal for holding sauces. Today, it remains an Italian-owned family business operating from its original region.
