Ownership of Red Bull GmbH remains private and closely held. It is split between the Yoovidhya family (based in Thailand) and the Mateschitz family (based in Austria). Following the passing of Dietrich Mateschitz in 2022, his son Mark Mateschitz inherited his father's stake, maintaining the brand's strong Austrian identity and management while the Thai co-founders remain the majority shareholders.
