Rummo is a premium Italian pasta brand founded in 1846 in Benevento by Antonio Rummo. The brand is famous for its 'Lenta Lavorazione' (Slow Processing) method, which ensures the pasta remains 'al dente' even after long cooking times and over-cooking. Most of their products are traditionally extruded through bronze dies to create a rough surface that holds sauce better.
Manufacturing remains centered in the original location of Benevento, Italy. Despite being a historic brand, Rummo has recently expanded its global footprint while remaining under the control of the Rummo family through Rummo S.p.A. The company is known for its commitment to high-quality durum wheat and sustainable production methods.
