Urtekram Organic Cocoa

Urtekram is a pioneering Danish brand established in 1972, focusing on organic and natural products. This organic cocoa powder is sourced from Fairtrade-certified cooperatives across various tropical regions, ensuring ethical production standards. While the brand was founded in Mariager, Denmark, many of its ingredients, like cocoa, are grown internationally and then packaged either in Denmark or specialized facilities across Scandinavia.

In 2015, the brand was acquired by the Finnish food company Midsona AB as part of an expansion strategy into the health and organic sector. Today, Urtekram remains one of the largest organic brands in Scandinavia, offering a wide range of food and personal care products that comply with high environmental and ethical standards like the EU Organic Logo and Fairtrade.
