PiM's is a renowned brand of soft biscuits with fruit filling and a dark chocolate coating, commonly known as Jaffa cakes. The brand originated in France under the iconic biscuit manufacturer LU (Lefèvre-Utile), which was founded in Nantes in 1846.
Over the decades, the ownership of LU transitioned through several large corporations, including Danone, before being acquired by Kraft Foods. Following a corporate spin-off, the brand now sits under the portfolio of Mondelēz International. While LU has deep French roots and its primary production remains in France, Mondelēz manufactures its diverse snack portfolio across various international facilities to serve global markets.
