Jordans is a well-established British brand, widely known for its pioneer role in the granola and healthy cereal market. Founded in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire by brothers Bill and David Jordan in 1972, the company became one of the first in the UK to promote whole-grain oat-based breakfasts. The 'Country Crisp' range is one of their most popular product lines, featuring crunchy oat clusters with various inclusions like honey and nuts.

While the brand has deep local roots and continues to manufacture the majority of its products in the United Kingdom, its ownership structure has evolved. In 2007, a majority stake was sold to Associated British Foods (ABF). Today, the brand is part of a joint venture known as Jordans Dorset Ryvita, which is fully owned by Associated British Foods. ABF is a multinational food processing and retailing company headquartered in London, listed on the London Stock Exchange and part of the FTSE 100 Index.
