Jordans is a well-established British brand, originating in 1855 at Holme Mills in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Founded by the Jordan family, the brand became a pioneer in the UK health food market, particularly known for introducing granola and muesli to the British public during the 1970s. The products are primarily produced in the United Kingdom, maintaining a focuses on whole grain ingredients and natural recipes.
In 2008, Jordans merged with the cereal business of Ryvita to form Jordans & Ryvita, which is a subsidiary of Associated British Foods (ABF). Today, the brand is part of the extensive portfolio of ABF, a global diversified food, ingredients, and retail group headquartered in London. Despite the international ownership, Jordans retains its British heritage and commitment to sustainable farming through initiatives like the Jordans Farm Partnership.
