While the brand faced financial difficulties in the early 2000s, it was acquired in 2011 by the Ferro family (under the group La Molisana S.p.A.), who revitalized the company. The manufacturing remains deeply rooted in Italy, utilizing Italian-grown tomatoes and traditional processing methods. The Ferro family continues to own and manage the company, making it a prominent example of authentic Italian food production that maintains control over its entire supply chain.
