Aquafresh is a long-standing leader in the oral care industry, famously recognized for its triple-colored "striped" branding. The Clean Control toothbrush line is part of their modern hygiene range, featuring ergonomic designs like the 'Flex-Zone' to protect gums during brushing.
The brand was originally launched in 1973 by the Beecham Group in the United Kingdom. Over decades of corporate mergers, the brand moved from SmithKline Beecham to GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into a new independent company named Haleon. Consequently, as of 2026, Aquafresh is owned and operated by Haleon, which is headquartered in Weybridge, UK. Manufacturing for Aquafresh toothbrushes takes place in multiple locations globally to service its wide distribution network in over 120 countries, often utilizing facilities in Europe, Asia, and North America.
