Rummo is a premium Italian pasta brand with a history dating back to 1846. Founded by Antonio Rummo in Benevento, Italy, the brand is renowned for its proprietary 'Lenta Lavorazione' (Slow Processing) method, which ensures the pasta maintains its shape and 'al dente' texture during cooking. The Lasagne all'Uovo shown here is an egg-based pasta made using 100% Italian eggs and high-quality durum wheat semolina.
While many large pasta brands have been acquired by multinational conglomerates, Rummo remains a family-owned enterprise. It is currently managed by the sixth generation of the Rummo family. The company operates its primary production facility in Benevento, maintaining a strong commitment to traditional Italian manufacturing standards and local heritage. Despite a devastating flood that hit their factory in 2015, the brand successfully rebuilt and continues to export its premium pasta varieties globally.
