Urtekram is a pioneering organic brand founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1972 by Lisbeth Damsgaard and Ronnie McGrail. It started as a small herb shop and grew into a major Scandinavian leader in organic food and beauty products.

The Jumbo Raisins are sourced internationally, typically from regions like Chile, South Africa, or Turkey depending on the season and harvest quality, before being packaged and distributed. In 2015, Urtekram was acquired by the Swedish consumer goods company Midsona AB, which specializes in health and wellness brands. Today, Urtekram remains a core brand under Midsona's ownership, representing the organic segment across Europe.
