Crema Novi is a premium chocolate and hazelnut spread produced by the Italian confectionery brand Novi. The brand's history dates back to 1903 when it was founded as a cooperative in Novi Ligure, Italy. Known for its high quality, the spread is characterized by its high hazelnut content (45%), using Italian hazelnuts from the Piedmont region and high-quality cocoa without the addition of palm oil or hydrogenated fats.

In 1982, the Novi brand was acquired and revitalized by the entrepreneur Flavio Repetto, who integrated it into the Elah Dufour Novi Group. This group brings together several historical Italian confectionery brands, including Elah, Dufour, and Baratti & Milano. The manufacturing process remains centralized in Italy, with major production facilities located in Novi Ligure (Alessandria), Bra (Cuneo), and Sassello (Savona).

As of 2026, the company continues to be owned by the Repetto family, operating as a significant independent player in the Italian food industry. While there are minor shareholdings from other Italian entities such as Ermenegildo Zegna and Fenera Holding, the ultimate management and majority ownership remain with the Elah Dufour S.p.A. group based in Italy.
