De Ruijter Anijshagel

De Ruijter Anijshagel is a traditional Dutch bread topping consisting of small, white anise-flavored sprinkles. The brand, De Ruijter, was founded in 1860 by C.P. de Ruijter in Baarn, the Netherlands. It became famous for its 'konjes' (aniseed comfits) and eventually expanded into a full range of chocolate and fruit sprinkles, becoming a staple of the Dutch breakfast table.

While the brand maintains its deep Dutch heritage and production facilities in the Netherlands, it is no longer an independent company. Today, De Ruijter is a subsidiary of The Kraft Heinz Company, following the merger of Kraft Foods and Heinz. This acquisition integrated the iconic Dutch brand into one of the world's largest food and beverage conglomerates, ensuring its distribution across European and global markets.
