Vaseline Original Pure Petroleum Jelly

Vaseline is one of the most iconic skincare brands in history, famously known for its Pure Petroleum Jelly. The story of Vaseline began in 1859 when Robert Augustus Chesebrough, a young chemist, discovered a natural mineral-rich wax known as 'rod wax' while visiting oil fields in Titusville, Pennsylvania. After years of refining and perfecting the purification process, he patented his 'Wonder Jelly' and officially founded the Vaseline brand in 1870 in Brooklyn, New York.

Over the decades, Vaseline evolved from a single medicinal product to a global skincare staple used for healing minor cuts, protecting dry skin, and various beauty routines. In 1955, the Chesebrough Manufacturing Company merged with Pond's to form Chesebrough-Pond's. This company was eventually acquired by the British multinational Unilever in 1987. Today, Vaseline products are manufactured in multiple facilities worldwide, including locations in India, China, and South Africa, to serve over 70 countries.
