Urtekram is a pioneering organic brand founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1972 by Lisbeth Damsgaard and Ronnie McGrail. It started as a small herb shop and has grown into one of Scandinavia's largest organic producers. The product shown is a certified organic hand wash, emphasizing natural ingredients and Nordic beauty traditions.

In 2015, Urtekram was acquired by Midsona AB, a Swedish group specializing in health and wellness products. Today, while the brand maintains its historical connection to Denmark where much of the production and development still takes place, it is part of a larger international portfolio managed from Sweden. The brand is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, using plant-based packaging and maintaining COSMOS ORGANIC certification.
