This facility holds the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) certification, ensuring that the feta is made according to traditional Greek methods using sheep and goat's milk from the region.

Hacendado is the private label brand of Mercadona, a prominent Spanish retailer founded in 1977. While the product itself is made in Greece to maintain authenticity, the brand identity and distribution are managed by Mercadona.
