Pickwick Original Ceylon tea

Pickwick is a heritage Dutch tea brand with deep historical roots dating back to 1753 under the Douwe Egberts company. The brand name itself was inspired by Charles Dickens' Pickwick Papers, introduced in the 1930s to give the product a more international appeal. While founded in the Netherlands, its tea leaves, such as Ceylon, are sourced globally from regions like Sri Lanka.

Today, Pickwick is part of the portfolio of JDE Peet's, a major global coffee and tea company. As a multinational brand, manufacturing and packaging occur across various international facilities, primarily within Europe to serve the Dutch and neighboring markets. The ownership has transitioned through several mergers, including Sara Lee and Mondelēz International spin-offs, before settling under the Dutch-headquartered JDE Peet's.
