The brand name 'Pickwick' was officially introduced in 1937, inspired by Charles Dickens' novel The Pickwick Papers. Today, Pickwick is a market leader in the Netherlands and Denmark, known for its extensive range of black, green, and fruit-infused teas.

Historically part of the Douwe Egberts portfolio, the brand transitioned through various corporate restructures, including a period under the American Sara Lee Corporation.
