Pickwick Super Blends Energy is a functional herbal tea featuring a blend of lemongrass, rooibos, turmeric, and sea buckthorn berry, enriched with vitamin B6. The brand has deep Dutch roots dating back to 1753 when Egbert Douwes opened a small shop in Joure, Netherlands. Originally sold under the Douwe Egberts name, the tea was rebranded as 'Pickwick' in 1937, inspired by Charles Dickens' novel The Pickwick Papers.

Today, Pickwick is a leading global tea brand under the JDE Peet's umbrella. While the brand's heritage is Dutch and it maintains a significant presence in the Netherlands and Denmark, its manufacturing occurs in various locations across Europe. For the Super Blends line, production is typically centered in facilities such as those in Poland. In late 2025, a significant ownership shift was finalized as Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) acquired JDE Peet's, bringing the iconic Dutch brand under American ultimate ownership while maintaining its headquarters and operational roots in the Netherlands.
