Pickwick is a renowned tea brand with a heritage dating back to 1753 when Douwe Egberts founded the company in Joure, Netherlands. The brand was officially named Pickwick in 1937, inspired by Charles Dickens' Pickwick Papers. It is particularly well-known for pioneering fruit-flavored teas, which have a strong market presence in Europe, especially in the Netherlands, Denmark, and the Czech Republic.

Today, Pickwick is part of JDE Peet's, a major global player in the coffee and tea industry. While the brand originated as a Dutch family business, it is now part of an international portfolio managed after several corporate mergers, including the 2015 merger between D.E Master Blenders 1753 and the coffee division of Mondelez International.
