KitKat Chocolate Bar

KitKat was originally developed by Rowntree's in the United Kingdom in 1935. The brand was acquired by Nestlé in 1988, granting them global control over the product. However, due to a licensing agreement with Rowntree's from 1970, The Hershey Company produces KitKat in the United States. This arrangement has been in place since before Nestlé's acquisition of Rowntree's, and continues to this day.
