Aquafresh Toothpaste

Aquafresh is a world-renowned oral care brand originally launched in 1973 by Beecham Group in the United Kingdom. It became famous for its distinctive multi-colored stripes—originally blue and white to represent freshness and fluoride protection, with a third red stripe added in 1981 to signify gum health.

Over the decades, the brand's ownership evolved through major pharmaceutical mergers, moving from Beecham to SmithKline Beecham, and eventually to GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into an independent, publicly traded company named Haleon. As of 2026, Haleon remains the ultimate owner of the brand.

While this specific packaging indicates it was manufactured in the UK, Aquafresh is produced in several global facilities. A significant portion of European production takes place in the Haleon plant in Levice, Slovakia, which serves as a major hub for the brand's oral health portfolio alongside facilities in the United States and other regions.
