Oldtimers licorice

Oldtimers is a well-known Dutch brand of premium licorice (drop) founded in 1924 by Jochum Douwenga in Jirnsum (Irnsum), Friesland. Renowned for traditional recipes such as 'Sneker Zoethouders' and 'Hindelooper Ruitjesdrop', Oldtimers became a staple in Dutch confectionery.

Over the years, the brand became part of Concorp (a prominent Dutch confectionery company also known for brands like Autodrop and Schuttelaar). Today, Oldtimers continues to be manufactured in the Netherlands, primarily produced at Concorp's confectionery manufacturing facilities in Jirnsum, Friesland. While the term 'oldtimer' is widely used internationally to describe classic vintage cars or historic clubs, in the Dutch retail market, Oldtimers specifically refers to this traditional Friesian licorice brand owned by Concorp.
