Persil Laundry Detergent Powder

Persil is a renowned laundry detergent brand originally introduced in 1907 by Henkel in Germany. Recognized historically as the first commercially available self-acting laundry detergent, the name 'Persil' is derived from two of its original primary active ingredients: perborate and silicate.

Today, Persil is manufactured and distributed worldwide by Henkel AG & Co. KGaA across numerous international facilities, including in Turkey (where the specific packaging shown in Turkish, 'Derin Temizleme', is marketed) and across Europe and North America. In the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, and parts of Oceania, the brand name Persil is licensed to Unilever, but worldwide ownership of the original brand and its US operations belongs to Henkel.
