After Eight Raspberry Dark Chocolate

After Eight is an internationally renowned brand of chocolate-covered mint thins, originally created in the United Kingdom in 1962 by confectionery manufacturer Rowntree & Company Limited. Known for its sophisticated image and evening-dinner association, the brand expanded over the decades to feature limited editions and fruit-infused mint fillings, such as raspberry.

In 1988, Swiss multinational food and beverage corporation Nestlé acquired Rowntree, bringing After Eight under its extensive confectionery portfolio. Although created in the UK and long manufactured at Halifax in West Yorkshire, contemporary European production for After Eight was consolidated largely at Nestlé's manufacturing site in Hamburg, Germany, from where it is distributed to the UK and global markets.
