GROHE Sanitary Fittings

GROHE is a globally renowned manufacturer of premium sanitary fittings, including bathroom faucets, showers, flush systems, and kitchen taps.

The brand was founded in 1936 by Friedrich Grohe in Hemer, Germany, after he acquired the brass hardware company Berkenhoff & Paschedag. While Friedrich was the son of Hans Grohe (founder of the separate sanitary company Hansgrohe), GROHE operated as an independent entity focused on innovative bathroom fixtures and fittings.

In 2014, GROHE was acquired by the LIXIL Group Corporation, a Japanese multinational building materials and housing equipment company. Today, GROHE operates as a global brand within LIXIL's international portfolio. Production takes place across several integrated manufacturing plants located in Germany (Hemer, Porta Westfalica, Lahr), Portugal (Albergaria), and Thailand (Klaeng).
