Krups Electric Kettle / Water Boiler

Krups is a historic German manufacturer of kitchen appliances, recognized worldwide for its coffee makers, espresso machines, toasters, and electric water kettles / water boilers. The brand was established in 1846 by Robert Krups in Solingen, Germany, initially beginning as a manufacturer of precision mechanical balances and scales before pivoting into household and coffee preparation appliances in the mid-20th century.

Over decades of expansion and corporate consolidation, Krups became an iconic European small-appliance brand. In 2001, following the insolvency of its then-parent Moulinex, Krups was acquired by the French kitchenware and small domestic equipment conglomerate Groupe SEB. Today, Groupe SEB oversees global distribution, marketing, and manufacturing across iconic kitchen brands such as Tefal, Rowenta, Krups, and All-Clad.

While Krups products are engineered and designed under European quality standards, the manufacturing of Krups electric kettles and water boilers sold in the United States and globally is primarily handled through Groupe SEB's manufacturing partnerships and facilities in China, with select specialty components sourced internationally.
