Fastspeed Broadband Service

Fastspeed is a Danish telecommunications and broadband provider established in late 2018 by industry veterans Jens Raith, Morten Suker, and Peter Mægbæk. The brand was founded with a disruptive challenger model, aiming to provide high-speed fiber and coax broadband to Danish households at competitive, straightforward pricing.

In 2021, the Danish energy and telecommunications group SEF Energi A/S acquired a minority stake, which later developed into a complete takeover. Today, Fastspeed A/S operates as a fully owned subsidiary under SEF A/S (Svendborg Elværk), an established Danish cooperative and infrastructure group headquartered in Svendborg on Funen.

All services delivered under the Fastspeed brand operate domestically across Danish fiber and cable networks via open wholesale agreements. There are no international namesakes in the Danish consumer broadband space, making it a distinctly Danish telecommunications offering.
