Wizards of the Coast (often abbreviated as WotC) is an American game publisher renowned for creating and publishing iconic tabletop games such as Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. Founded in 1990 by Peter Adkison in Renton, Washington, the company revolutionized the hobby gaming industry with the launch of Magic: The Gathering in 1993, which pioneered the collectible card game genre. In 1997, Wizards of the Coast acquired TSR, Inc., bringing the seminal fantasy role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons under its banner.

In September 1999, global toy and entertainment conglomerate Hasbro, Inc. acquired Wizards of the Coast. Today, Wizards of the Coast operates as one of Hasbro's key operational divisions—Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming—serving as a cornerstone of the parent company's growth and profitability. While Hasbro remains headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Wizards of the Coast maintains its primary operational offices in Bellevue, Washington.

The physical products released under Wizards of the Coast, such as card sets, sourcebooks, and board game accessories, are manufactured globally. Trading card production is primarily concentrated in specialized high-security printing facilities in the United States, Belgium (notably Cartamundi), and Japan, while hardcover rulebooks and boxed components are manufactured in the United States, China, and Europe.
