Purina Gourmet Gold Mousse with Tuna

Purina Gourmet Gold is a premium wet cat food line produced under the Purina pet care brand. The Purina brand traces its roots to St. Louis, Missouri, USA, originally established as the Robinson-Danforth Commission Company in 1894 by William H. Danforth and later known as Ralston Purina.

In 2001, global food and beverage conglomerate Nestlé acquired Ralston Purina and merged it with its existing pet food division (Friskies PetCare) to create Nestlé Purina PetCare. Today, Purina operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nestlé S.A., headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland.

In the European market, Purina Gourmet wet food cans, including the Gourmet Gold series, are predominantly manufactured at Purina's specialized pet food facilities in Europe, primarily in France (such as the Montfort-sur-Risle and Marconnelle facilities). In Denmark, the product is distributed through Nestlé Danmark A/S.
