Royal Salmón Ahumado

Royal is one of the leading seafood and smoked salmon brands in Spain, famous for its tag 'Artesanos del Mar desde 1853'. The brand origin traces back through the history of Copesco & Sefrisa, a benchmark Spanish seafood company founded on cod and smoked salmon operations.

In 2021, Copesco & Sefrisa was acquired by Angulas Aguinaga, a leading multinational food group in Spain known for seafood innovations (including La Gula del Norte and Krissia). Angulas Aguinaga itself is predominantly owned by the French private equity investment firm PAI Partners, which acquired a majority stake in late 2020. The salmon is farmed primarily in Norway (as indicated by the Norwegian origin emblem on the pack) and traditionally smoked, sliced, and packaged in facilities in Spain.
