B&W Quality Growers Fresh Greens

B&W Quality Growers is an American agricultural company specializing in the commercial cultivation and distribution of gourmet baby leafy greens, most notably watercress, arugula, and baby spinach. Founded in 1870 by Richard Baker and Gregory Walton in New Jersey, the company has grown over more than a century and a half to become the largest grower of fresh watercress in North America.

To ensure year-round supply and optimal growing conditions, B&W Quality Growers cultivates and packages its greens across farmland situated in various climate zones within the United States, including operations in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.

In 2015, private equity firm Blue Point Capital Partners acquired B&W Quality Growers. Later, in December 2020, private equity sponsor Mason Wells acquired the company alongside management and co-investors. Headquartered in Fellsmere, Florida, B&W operates under the ultimate ownership of Mason Wells, continuing to serve both retail and foodservice customers across the United States.
