Glad 100% Compostable Small Compost Bags

Glad Compostable Bags are widely used throughout Canada for kitchen food waste collection and municipal green bin programs. The Glad brand originated in the United States in the 1960s under Union Carbide Corporation before transitioning through First Brands and ultimately being acquired by The Clorox Company in 1999 (with Procter & Gamble holding a minority stake in the joint venture).

In Canada, Glad products are marketed and distributed through Clorox Canada (The Clorox Company of Canada Ltd.). Many of Glad's Canadian compost and waste bag lines, including these certified compostable bags, proudly feature the maple leaf insignia indicating domestic Canadian manufacturing.
