Sonrisas are iconic sandwich cookies known for their distinctive smiley-face design and fruit-flavored cream filling. The brand belongs to Bagley, a historical company founded in Argentina in 1864 by Melville Sewell Bagley.

Bagley underwent several ownership changes over the decades, eventually forming a significant strategic alliance with the French group Danone. However, since the early 2000s, Bagley has been part of a joint venture between the Argentine multinational Grupo Arcor and Danone. Arcor currently manages the operations and holds the majority of the food business interests for the Bagley brand in the Southern Cone region. The product is widely distributed across South America, primarily manufactured in Argentina.
