Gasteiner is a premium Austrian mineral water brand that draws its water from the Hohe Tauern National Park in the Gastein Valley. This specific product, Preiselbeere (Lingonberry), is a fruit-flavored mineral water variant. The brand has a heritage dating back to 1929 when the first commercial bottling began.

Today, Gasteiner is part of the Brau Union Österreich AG, which is the largest brewing group in Austria. Since 2003, Brau Union has been a major subsidiary of the Dutch brewing giant Heineken N.V. This ownership structure places Gasteiner under the ultimate umbrella of Heineken's international beverage portfolio, although production remains strictly localized in Bad Gastein, Austria, to maintain the product's protected mineral water status.
