Kildemoes is one of Denmark's most iconic and traditional bicycle brands, established in 1942. While the brand has deep Danish roots, its modern components, such as the E-Going electric propulsion systems and their corresponding chargers, are typically manufactured in China, which is the global hub for e-bike electronics.

Today, Kildemoes is no longer an independent Danish company. It is owned by Cycleurope, a major European bicycle group. Cycleurope itself is a subsidiary of the Swedish industrial conglomerate Grimaldi Industri AB. This ownership structure places the ultimate control of the brand in Sweden, while maintaining Kildemoes as a specialized local brand for the Danish market.
