Originally founded in 1979 as a family-owned business specializing in insecticides and air fresheners, the company underwent a major transformation in 2003 when it was acquired by its current owners.

Since 2005, Francisco Aragón has operated as a dedicated 'inter-supplier' (interproveedor) for the Spanish supermarket giant Mercadona. Under this strategic partnership, the company ceased production of its own independent brands to focus exclusively on manufacturing Mercadona's private label products, primarily under the 'Bosque Verde' brand. Today, it remains the leading manufacturer of aerosols and air fresheners in Spain, maintaining a close relationship with the Roig family's retail empire, which serves as the ultimate owner of the brand name and the primary distributor for these household products.
