REMA 1000 Solbærsmag Sukkerfri is a private-label concentrated blackcurrant drink (commonly known as 'squash' in the Nordics) produced for the REMA 1000 discount supermarket chain. As a private-label product, it is developed specifically for the retailer to offer a budget-friendly alternative to branded syrups and beverages.

The brand REMA 1000 originated in Norway, where the first store was opened in 1979 by Odd Reitan. The concept was inspired by the German hard-discount model and has since grown into one of the leading retail brands in Scandinavia. While the brand itself is Norwegian, the products sold in Danish REMA 1000 stores are often manufactured locally in Denmark through contract manufacturing agreements with Danish beverage producers to ensure efficiency and support regional supply chains.

Today, the brand is owned by Reitan Retail, a division of the Norwegian conglomerate REITAN. Reitan Retail oversees the REMA 1000 operations across Norway and Denmark, as well as other well-known brands like 7-Eleven in the Nordic region.
