Voiello Tortiglione pasta

Voiello is a premium Italian pasta brand with a rich history dating back to 1879, when it was founded by Teodoro Voiello in Torre Annunziata, near Naples. The brand has maintained its prestige through out the decades by focusing on high-quality ingredients and traditional production methods, such as bronze-die extrusion (trafilatura al bronzo), which gives the pasta a rough surface ideal for holding sauces.

Today, Voiello is renowned for using exclusively 100% Italian durum wheat, specifically the high-protein 'Aureo' variety. Since 1973, Voiello has been part of the Barilla Group, the world's leading pasta manufacturer. Despite its acquisition by a large multinational, Voiello remains positioned as a high-end, traditional brand within the Barilla portfolio, continuing its legacy of Neapolitan pasta-making excellence from its headquarters in Parma, Italy.
