Ferrarelle mineral water

Ferrarelle is one of Italy's most renowned mineral water brands, famous for being naturally effervescent. The water originates from the Val d'Assano in the province of Caserta, Campania. It is bottled directly at the source in Riardo, where it undergoes a natural carbonation process as it flows through underground volcanic rocks, enriching it with minerals like calcium, potassium, and bicarbonate.

The brand has a storied history dating back to 1893. While it was once owned by international giants such as the Danone Group, it was brought back into Italian ownership in 2005. Today, it is part of Ferrarelle S.p.A. Benefit Company, which remains a fully Italian-owned enterprise. The company has also expanded into other sectors, such as high-end chocolate through the acquisition of Amedei Toscana, and is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, including the operation of its own PET recycling plant to produce recycled plastic bottles.
