Cadbury chocolate products

Cadbury is one of the world's most iconic confectionery brands, with a heritage dating back to 1824 when John Cadbury opened a shop in Birmingham, England. Initially famous for its cocoa and drinking chocolate, the brand revolutionized the industry with the introduction of the Dairy Milk bar in 1905, which featured a higher proportion of milk than previous chocolate recipes. For nearly two centuries, Cadbury remained a British staple, eventually merging with Schweppes in 1969 to form Cadbury Schweppes.

In 2010, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the American food conglomerate Kraft Foods in a high-profile takeover. Following a corporate spin-off in 2012, the snacks and confectionery division of Kraft became Mondelēz International. Today, Cadbury is the crown jewel of the Mondelēz global portfolio. While it maintains its deep British roots and large manufacturing facilities in the UK—most notably the historic Bournville site—production has expanded globally to serve different regional markets across Europe, Australia, India, and Africa.
