Feldschlösschen Original is Switzerland's most popular beer, and it has been brewed since 1876. The brand originated in Rheinfelden, Switzerland, where its iconic castle-like brewery continues to operate today as a historical and industrial landmark.

Originally founded by Theophil Roniger and Mathias Wüthrich, the company grew to become the leading brewery in Switzerland. In 2000, Feldschlösschen was acquired by the Carlsberg Group, a Danish multinational brewery conglomerate. Despite being owned by a global entity based in Copenhagen, the beer maintains its deep Swiss identity, with production remains centered in its original Rheinfelden location back home in Switzerland.
